Biobanc de l’Hospital Infantil Sant Joan de Déu

The Biobank (BHISJDI) of the Hospital Sant Joan de Déu (HSJD) is a monographic biobank focused in children and women health. HSJD is located in Barcelona and is associated to Barcelona University (UB), being a highly specialized hospital that focuses on the diagnosis and comprehensive treatment of pediatric patients, especially in complex and rare diseases. HSJD is part of several national accredited assistance units (CSUR) as well as international, being involved in 14 ERNs such as PaedCan-ERN, ERN-NMD, EPIcare or ERN-RND. Our biobank focuses on offering high quality biological samples to perform translational research that has a direct impact on patients, offering them a personalized medicine.
