FIHGUV

Advanced 3D Printing Services and Biobank Unit Focused on the Health Sector

The SAIBSAL-FIHGUV Unit is composed of a team from the Foundation for Research of the General Hospital of Valencia (FIHGUV), which includes the Biomedical and Tissue Engineering Laboratory (BTELab), the Hospital’s Biobank, members of the Consortium, and two international partners from Harvard University and the pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca. The Unit is located within the FIHGUV, a public entity established in 1999 with the mission of promoting health and translational biomedical research. The FIHGUV supports research projects that optimize medical and surgical processes, and it includes a Clinical Research Unit, a Scientific Unit for Business Innovation, and a Clinical Simulation Center. SAIBSAL-FIHGUV is part of the 3D Printing and Biobank Hubs, which simplifies the application processes and improves user services.
