Biobank of the University Hospital of Getafe

The Biobank of the University Hospital of Getafe , managed by the Foundation for Biomedical Research of the University Hospital of Getafe, was authorized by the Community of Madrid in 2013 and is registered with the Carlos III Health Institute (B.0000785). It is a platform for the hospital field, with ISO 9001:2015 certification, that works to obtain, store, manage and distribute collections of human biological samples of great interest for research and that are available to the entire scientific community.
The mission of the Biobank is to obtain and preserve biological samples with quality criteria, to promote and facilitate excellent biomedical research in different pathologies, contributing to the advancement of scientific knowledge.
