FUNDACIÓN DEL INSTITUTO DE CIENCIAS DE LA SALUD DE CASTILLA Y LEÓN

Instituto de Investigación Biomédica de Salamanca

The integrated proposal coordinated by the National DNA Bank within the Biomedical Research Institute of Salamanca (IBSAL, https://ibsal.es/es/) is made up of three complementary units with a history of joint collaboration, as support research services, of more than 15 years (https://www.bancoadn.org/en/structure). The National DNA Bank is a reference biobank not only for its high quality facilities and technical capacities, but also for the unique and singular sample collections that offers to the scientific community (www.bancoadn.org). The Biobank Network of Oncological Diseases of Castilla and León which is made up of seven hospital based biobank spread out the region, also offers as a Comparative Pathology Service (https://www.cicancer.org/core-facilities-services/diagnostic-units/molecular-pathology) complete histological, immunohistochemical and molecular analysis of transgenic animal models, that can be generated on demand within the Transgenesis Service (https://nucleus.usal.es/es/transgenesis) of this Research Support Platform.
