Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre –Biobanco I+12 Biobank

The i+12 Biobank is the connection unit with the Biomedical Research Institute, which regularizes the management of samples and data generated from the healthcare activity of the 12 de Octubre University Hospital for use in Biomedical research. It is a node of the ISCIII Biomodels and Biobanks Platform as a Support Platform for R&D&I in Biomedicine and Health Sciences.The i+12 Biobank, authorized for its operation, is a non profit, public service establishment, where e obtain, process and preserve samples and associated data of high interest, for use in national and international scientific reseach projects.The biobank guarantees the quality, security and traceability of the stored data and samples, always ensuring compliance with current legislation, and protecting the rights of donors.
