B-SCB

Barcelona Stem Cell Bank

The Barcelona Stem Cells Bank main mission is to offer researchers the services of generation, characterisation and banking of hPSCs, whether human embryonic stem cells (hESCs) or human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs). The B-SCB offers non-integrative reprogramming methodologies such as Sendai virus, episomal plasmids or mRNA. It uses sevral cell types for reprogramming such as fibroblasts, keratinocytes, peripheral blood and umbilical cord cells, certain tumour cells and even urine epithelial cells. Since its creation, the BLC-B has participated in several projects in the field of hPSCs.
