The Biobank HUB-ICO-IDIBELL is a public hospital based-biobank, created to manage and regulate the human biological samples collected at the Hospital Universitari de Bellvitge, at Duran i Reynals Hospital-ICO, and Hospital of Viladecans. The activities of the Biobank HUB-ICO-IDIBELL are to receive, process, store and distribute human samples and their associated data for biomedical research, complying with technical and quality criteria, and guaranteeing ethical and legal requirements. Our procedures and governance continously pursue to align our activity in a proportional manner to the interests of researchers, donors and society.
