New set of concepts on COVID-19 from the SNOMED CT National Reference Center

The SNOMED CT National Reference Center for Spain has assembled a set of concepts codified according to SNOMED CT terminology related to contingencies arising from the COVID-19 pandemic.

The first product of the works is a list of new concepts (which will be updated every week) that includes both those that have been activated directly by the IHTSDO (International Health Terminology Standards Organisation) in its extraordinary International Edition, and those that have been created in the Extension for Spain of SNOMED CT. The list has been structured by domains to serve different approaches to data logging.

These contents can be used in electronic medical history systems, departmental systems or public health information systems without the need to be licensees of SNOMED CT. The web contents can be found in this link..
