Biobanco La Fe

The Health Research Institute Hospital La Fe (IIS La Fe) manages the scientific policy of Hospital Universitari i Politècnic La Fe. The Institute encourages, promotes and fosters cutting-edge investigation, scientific and technological knowledge and its further transfer to the production sector.
Biobanco La Fe is an authorized centralized service platform created in 2010. It is a regulatory authority of samples for biomedical research and a key in translational research due to it provides biological material and clinical information following specific requirements and safe procedures in terms of data manipulation, information and responsible use of the material. It has its own facilities located in the basement of Tower A of Hospital La Fe.
Its Quality Management System (QMS) is certified by the UNE-EN ISO 9001 and participates in international programs of quality control of samples with satisfactory results (“”ISBER PROFICIENCY TEST””).
